About Talk Of The Town
Caribbean Restaurant in Birmingham
Talk of the Town in Birmingham isn't fancy, but it's got a real neighborhood vibe. It's the kind of place where you feel comfortable just dropping in, maybe grabbing a table near the window. The space features warm lighting and simple decor—nothing flashy, but comfortable and inviting. It feels like a place where people come for good food and good company.
Their menu is focused on classic Jamaican dishes, and they clearly know what they're doing. The curry goat is a standout, according to multiple reviews, and I saw a photo of a perfectly plated jerk chicken that looked incredible. They also offer stew chicken and callaloo, which are always popular choices. I'd recommend trying a bit of everything if you can!
What makes Talk of the Town special is the genuine warmth and friendliness. The server's willingness to explain the dishes is a nice touch, making the whole experience feel welcoming and personal. It's perfect for a casual weeknight dinner or a relaxed lunch with friends; you'll leave with a full belly and a happy heart.

The curry goat, stew chicken and callaloo were all terrific! The lady serving was very friendly and helpful, describing the dishes for us. We will definitely go there again when we go back to Birmingham.
