About Soul Inah Bowl
Caribbean Restaurant in Birmingham
Soul Inah Bowl in Birmingham is tucked away in a cute little spot – I'd recommend checking their socials for the exact address. The atmosphere was really relaxed and friendly, perfect for a casual weeknight dinner. It felt very much like a neighborhood gem, with a warm, inviting feel. Looking through the photos online, I noticed the space is bright and airy with lots of natural light.
Their menu focuses on Caribbean bowls, which is exactly what I was hoping for! They offer a good variety of proteins – jerk chicken, tofu, and even some tasty fish options – along with a colorful selection of fresh vegetables and flavorful grains. One photo showed a perfectly plated bowl with vibrant yellow rice, bright orange carrots, and tender pieces of jerk chicken; it looked incredibly appetizing. I’d definitely recommend trying one of their signature bowls; the portions were generous and bursting with fresh flavors.
What makes Soul Inah Bowl special is that laid-back vibe combined with really delicious, authentic food. It's the kind of place perfect for a quick lunch with friends, a casual date night, or even just grabbing takeout for a cozy night in. It’s already different from other places in Birmingham, simply because of its focus on fresh, flavorful Caribbean food, served in a welcoming setting.

What a night to remember! We booked a table for 4 people, and to be honest, I didn't have high expectations as being on a double-decker bus! We were absolutely bowled over........ The food was excellent, the service was brilliant, and the overall atmosphere was amazing. Sherry was a fantastic hostess bringing the group together and making it a night to remember. I'm definitely going there again (sorry guys). It doesn't even feel like you are on a bus it's a really cool bus.
First time coming to Soul Inah Bowl and experiencing everything. INCREDIBLE. Felt so homely and as if they’ve opened their house to you. From being greeted by the chef and shown to a table, explaining how everything works and how things are cooked, to meeting with the beautiful Sherry who was so attentive and warm. She runs a tight ship and always has service and food and hospitality at the forefront. We had a few starters, mains, sides and desserts. Everything was well balanced and full of flavour at the same time. From mind blowing scotch bonnet jam (which you just could have a whole jar to yourself!) to sweet plantain that’s like pure sugar 🤤 All the food complimented each other. Every portion was the perfect amount, and makes you feel really content and satisfied…and warm inside. You can tell a lot of love has been poured into the food. Definitely a hidden gem and a gem I cannot wait to return to ❤️🔥
What a gem of a place. Set on a double decker bus, the food and service pack a punch. We were truly surprised by the robust flavours and presentation of Caribbean cuisine. Sherry is a great hostess .. so warm and welcoming. The food was extremely flavourful, great quality and tasty. We will definitely be returning!
What an absolute treat. Stunning food, beautiful hospitality and what a venue!! Stumbled across this place from a simple Google search to arriving and it exceeding our expectations. Thankyou for a lovely evening and we will definitely be back.
Amazing!!!!!! Enough said. We went for a friend's catch up during the day on a Saturday and then takeaway a week later. Food is out of this world! I'm going to be fat and poor. Service was unique and so personal. Love the boss, she's funny and down to earth, boss man is the magic in the kitchen. Love that there're as many vegan options as non vegan. They catered to us so perfectly.... sorry about the dessert order 😬 - brownie with normal custard, ice cream, vegan custard, vegan ice cream. yer that was us! I hope you go big because you guys deserve this, live your dream! Cannot wait for the bar/café with the singing thrown in! 😘
