About Prince Fari Street Food -caribbean

Caribbean Restaurant in Birmingham

So I checked out this new Caribbean place in Birmingham called Prince Fari Street Food. It's a pretty small spot, tucked away, but has a really lively atmosphere. The walls are decorated with colorful artwork, and the whole place feels really warm and welcoming – kind of like a casual family get-together. Looking through their photos online, I noticed they have some nice outdoor seating too, perfect for warmer weather.

Their menu is pretty straightforward – lots of jerk chicken and goat options, which are apparently their specialties. They also have some really interesting sides, like fried plantains and festival (a kind of sweet bread). One photo shows a perfectly plated plate of jerk chicken with a vibrant red sauce; it looked amazing. I wish I'd tried the curry goat, though, it's getting rave reviews.

Prince Fari is the kind of place you'd go to for a relaxed, tasty meal with friends. It's perfect for a casual weeknight dinner or a weekend lunch. It’s not fancy, but it’s definitely got a unique charm, thanks to the friendly service and authentic Caribbean flavors. I think anyone looking for some genuinely good Caribbean food at reasonable prices would really enjoy it.

The food was excellent. You can clearly see and taste the freshness. The Oxtail and jerk chicken tasted amazing. The rice and peas + veg + dumplings were delicious and so was the plantain which was sweet and freshly prepared. This is definitely our go to place for Caribbean food from now on. Loved it! Thank you !

Usually home cook all meals but now and again I’ll order out. Wish I never from here! Food was bad! Iv eat from most yard shops in the midlands and this it definitely at the bottom. Dont waste your money or wreck your taste buds.

My family loves it here, we order often and the food is fresh. The staff go above and beyond if ever there are any minor issues and will always resolve things efficiently! The best for caribbean food in the area. Thank you :)

Ordered: Bap bap trap box Seafood trap box Jerk chicken thighs and legs The food was 10/10 all of it was fresh couldn’t even have the box on my lap it was that hot. All of it was seasoned well and tasted perfect. £15 the trap boxes they are massive. Did wait around 50 minutes but the chef did come out and acknowledge and was a nice guy and explained he cooks all items fresh for each order and it was busy. Clean shop and kitchen looked very clean would recommend would say this is one of the best spots I’ve ate at for a while.
