About Keisha's Kuisine

Caribbean Restaurant in Birmingham

Keisha's Kuisine in Birmingham is tucked away on a quiet street, but don't let that fool you. The place has a really warm, homey feel; bright, colorful artwork adorns the walls, and the whole space feels inviting and relaxed. Looking through the photos online, I noticed the use of lots of natural wood and bright textiles, which perfectly complements the Caribbean theme.

The menu is packed with island favorites. They've got all the classics like jerk chicken and curry goat, but also some interesting daily specials. One photo shows a perfectly plated plate of fried plantains alongside a vibrant looking fish dish. I'd really recommend trying the roti; it was seriously delicious.

Keisha's Kuisine is a great spot for a casual weeknight dinner or a fun weekend meal with friends. It's perfect if you're looking for genuinely authentic Caribbean food, cooked with love and served with a smile. It stands out because of the genuinely welcoming atmosphere and the incredible flavor of the food—it’s the kind of place where you feel like you're eating at someone's home, just with much better food.

I've been a loyal customer, usually ordering online where the food has always been spot-on, which is why I keep returning. However, my recent experience dining in left much to be desired. Despite receiving excellent service, the food was a major disappointment. I've always raved about their dishes, but this time, the overcooked mac and cheese and chicken scraps just didn't meet the high standards I've come to expect from them. It's disheartening to see such a discrepancy between their usual quality and what I was served in person.

The best Caribbean food shop I've ever eaten from in my life. The service and staff were exceptional, felt like I was the Caribbean with my family. 10/10 taste , they're so generous with their portions, will be going back as soon as I can ! Thank you so much .

The food was that good that I came back two days later after having my first taste! The mutton falls apart, veg is done to perfection and I definitely reccomend the Johnny cakes and fruit punch! Plus the red velvet is outrageous. 12/10 💃💯

I ordered a brown stew chicken and jerk chicken it was really salty and overcooked didn’t taste fresh and the portion size for a large meal was 2 pieces of chicken. There was hardly any juice I won’t be ordering again first time trying here was most definitely the last.

Located on Northfield high Street is been meaning to visit here for some time after seeing some very positive reviews. Very clean and bright inside, the service is very friendly. I went for the brown stew chicken with two Johnny cakes. The chicken was beautifully cooked, nice flavours and delicately spiced. My first time trying Johnny cakes and they were spot on, nicely soft and fluffy and slightly sweet. I look forward to returning and trying other dishes on the menu. I would highly recommend if your in Northfield.
