About Full-a-flava Restaurant

Caribbean Restaurant in Birmingham

Walking into Full-A-Flava Restaurant in Birmingham felt like stepping into a lively Caribbean home. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, buzzing with friendly chatter and the delicious aroma of spices. It had a genuine, unpretentious feel, not at all stuffy or formal—more like a neighborhood spot where everyone knows your name. The reviews mentioned a great vibe, and looking at the photos, I can see why—the space features simple, bright decor that enhances the focus on the food.

The menu is a celebration of Caribbean flavors. They offer classics like jerk chicken and fried chicken, alongside more unusual dishes like curry mutton. One photo shows a perfectly plated rice and peas, looking creamy and fragrant. I'd definitely recommend trying the oxtail, judging by the rave reviews, and a sampler of their various meats might be the best way to experience the range of flavors. The portion sizes appear generous, based on what I saw in the pictures.

What makes Full-A-Flava special is the genuine hospitality. The reviews speak volumes about the friendly staff and the welcoming atmosphere. It's the kind of place perfect for a casual weeknight dinner, a celebratory meal with friends, or even a quick lunch. THE BEST RESTAURANT YOU'LL FIND IN BIRMINGHAM! whenever I don't feel like cooking it's almost always here! Brown taste amazing, fried chicken, oxtale and rice peace is cooked well with the right amount of coconut milk and peas... unlike these other places that call themselves restaurants! 10/10 I recommend 100% coming from a real Jamaican born and bred that knows her food!

This place is pure vibes! The staff are super friendly, literally like old friends 🤗 such a warm feeling 🫠 My waitress "keps" said "what would you like today babe?" I replied "YES!" And she totally understood the assignment, she gave me everything they had prepared. ( I went just as they opened so they chef was still cooking) The food was 🔥 party in my mouth. Definitely "Full of flava" 😝 Highly recommended!!!! 🤤🤤🤤 ✍️🏾On my plate: curry mutton, fry chicken, jerk chicken, coleslaw and rice n peas.

Delicious meal Chicken was divine so tasteful and yam was really nice Excellent customer service Prices are good as well Well recommended

Mutton, rice and peas, hard food, steamed veg, stew chicken were AMAZING. The fried dumpling was even better, so soft, wish I ordered more than one! The Hake and chicken wings were not fresh and not nice and this let it down. Other than that, would definitely... and will definitely order the first parts of the meal again when I am in Birmingham. Lovely and hot with fast delivery. Perfect after a long day!

Decided to try this place and I was glad I did as they didn't disappoint. I purchased the oxtail with hard food and the curry goat with rice and peas. Both were good sized portions with veg on the side and tasted really good. So much so that I went back the following day and purchased some fried bream, fried chicken, fried chicken wings and a mutton soup!! Again feedback from my mum fussy mum and brother was everything tasted very good👍🏾 This will be my go to when I am visiting Brum again. The Customer service was professional and I will definitely be returning. If you wasn't flavoursome food I would highly recommend.
