No matter how this place is busy, your always getting decent service. The food is good and consistent. The curry mutton/goat is a great representation of Jamaican home cooking. I love how this place hasn’t strayed far from its roots and brings people into the community. Top draw west Indian takeaway. Love your Guinness punch even though it’s done before I reach home, I don’t live far either.
Proper jamaican food. Fresh and full of flavour, many items on the menu. The Jerk chicken and rice is the best Ive had. The staff are very friendly too.

My first taste of Jamaican food in England was at this spot. The atmosphere could use a little sprucing up, but honestly, it kinda fits the vibe of some Jamaican joints, depending on where they're located. The best part? They’re affordable and there a variety of classic dishes on the menu. My personal service experience was pleasant, but I did witness a few folks getting iffy service. Now, let's talk about the food. I dug into some delicious oxtail, and they weren't stingy with the sauce, which I loved. I have mixed emotions about the amount though. I also got a side of plantain which I have no complaints about. All in all, I'd say give it a shot. It might not be a fancy place, but if you're in the mood for affordable Jamaican eats with a side of character, it's worth a visit.
