About Chris Caribbean Food
Caribbean Restaurant in Birmingham
Chris Caribbean Food in Birmingham is a cozy spot; it's tucked away, so you might need to look for it, but that adds to its charm. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly, perfect for a casual weeknight dinner. Looking through the photos online, I noticed the space is bright and nicely decorated, with plenty of warm colors that made it feel inviting.
Their menu features a good range of classic Caribbean dishes, with plenty of options for vegetarians and meat-eaters alike. One photo shows a perfectly plated jerk chicken, looking incredibly juicy. I'd definitely recommend trying their curry goat—it was rich and flavorful—and the plantains were amazing. They also have several different types of roti.
What makes Chris Caribbean Food special is its authenticity; the food tastes like home-style cooking, not like something from a tourist trap. It's the kind of place that's perfect for a casual dinner with friends or a family get-together. If you're craving genuine Caribbean food in Birmingham, this is the place to go.

Always on point, Great value for money. Warm authentic atmosphere
Fantastic food, staff nice and friendly.
I’ve been a regular customer at Chris’ for the last few years but nah man Chris you need to get rid of that big staff member with the piercing in her chin. She has no customer service skills at all. Today I ordered a soup from one member of staff and then that big lady come out of the kitchen to let me know that there’s no meat or potato or dumpling left in the soup, it will just be soup water. She asked me if that’s okay and I said it is as long as it’s being discounted. She said no, it will be full price. I refused obviously and went about my business. I can’t believe she said that to me with a straight face, like I’m going to pay £6 for seasoned water. Any time I come here and get served by her, it’s an unpleasant experience. She needs to go.
Customer Service is very poor treated my daughter in the most disrepectful manner when trying to buy food...Because my daughter is deaf and they couldn't understand her, made her feel so small a customer had to step in....when I confronted her she had a typical ignorant attitude and end on how am I supposed to know bout deaf preople. Never giving them my money again!!!
Finally made it here after being recommended. Simply the best caribbean I've had in a long time, delicious food and massive portions. Please don't change a thing, your on point with what your doing! Over ate, can't move 🤣
