About Caribbean Delights
Caribbean Restaurant in Birmingham
Caribbean Delights in Birmingham is tucked away on a quiet street, but don't let that fool you – it's got a warm, inviting atmosphere inside. The space features bright colours and some really cool artwork on the walls, creating a cheerful, relaxed vibe. It felt really fresh and modern, not at all stuffy. Looking through the photos, I noticed they have a small but comfortable patio area too, perfect for warmer evenings.
Their menu is fairly concise, focusing on classic Caribbean dishes with a few interesting twists. They have all the usual suspects – jerk chicken, curried goat, and callaloo soup – but also some intriguing specials that change regularly. One photo shows a perfectly plated plate of Escovitch fish that looked incredible; I'd definitely recommend checking that out if it's on offer. They also have some delicious-looking desserts, but I was too full to try one this time!
What makes Caribbean Delights special is its genuine feel. It's clear a lot of love and care goes into the food, and the service is friendly and attentive without being overbearing. It's the kind of place that’s perfect for a relaxed dinner with friends, a romantic date night, or even a casual solo meal. If you're craving authentic Caribbean food with a modern twist in a welcoming atmosphere, then this is the place for you.
