About Island Spice
Caribbean Restaurant in Belfast
Island Spice in Belfast is a charming little spot; tucked away, it has a really relaxed atmosphere. The walls are painted a cheerful yellow, and the lighting is warm and inviting. Looking through the photos online, I noticed lots of plants, giving it a very fresh, Caribbean feel, very different from other Belfast eateries.
Their menu focuses on classic Caribbean dishes with a modern twist. I saw jerk chicken, curries, and plenty of fresh seafood options. One photo shows a perfectly plated plate of escovitch fish – it looked incredible. I'd definitely recommend trying their rum punch too, based on the happy customers in several of the pictures!
Island Spice is perfect for a casual weeknight dinner or a relaxed weekend brunch with friends. It’s the kind of place that's comfortable and unpretentious, a welcome change from the more formal restaurants in the city. The food is fresh and flavorful, and the whole experience is very welcoming – a great addition to Belfast's food scene.
